System Requirements

If you purchase a turn-key system from us then you do not need a PC to use our applications. You only need a Facebook account and the Oculus app on a Android/iOS device. This is to access the developer mode. If you intend to install the app on your own, a Windows 10 PC with USB-3 to USB-C cable (provided with your Quest 2) is required.

Before using the program, locate the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and view 'Section 14 - Transport Information'.

2. UN Identification Number

The 4 digit UN Identification Number found in Section 14: Transportation Information goes here. Example: 1993

3. Select Material

View Symbols and PG (if applicable). Then, highlight the row that matches the Proper Shipping Name and Packing Group (PG) and click Next.

3a. Technical Names

If the entry has a symbol 'G', then you must include additional information. Reference Section 14: Transportation Information of the SDS.

4. Determine Amount

How much product are you shipping? Is it a box or a rail car? This is based on the amount of product being shipped and the desired mode of transportation.

4a. Validate TN

Under the hood, Hazmatica performs compliance checks to ensure the proper hazard communications display on the packaging and shipping papers include the correct wording, if applicable.

4b. Validate RQ or MP or both

Hazardous substances can change the hazard communications. In addition, Marine Pollutants & Environmentally Hazardous Substances are validated.

5. Type of Package

It's time to narrow down our packaging choices. The available choices vary based on the amount of product being shipped. For this example, let's ship a small box. This screen is where we select between a single or combination packaging.

6. Select Packaging

The available and appropriate packaging is ready for selection. Select one of the thumbnails to view the final 3D package.

7. View Packaging

This is the screen you've been waiting for. This is where you can access all of the features like overpacks, placarding vehicles and saving descriptions and packages for shipping papers.

7a. 3D Tour

The left and right toolbars include access to special provisions, labeling, specification marking, overpacks, placarding vehicles, and even simulate package assembly.

8. Save a Package

You can copy the shipping string into your own shipping program or use ours. Simply complete the form and save the package. You can now generate a modal specific shipping paper.

Every package that is saved can be viewed at any time.

Each account includes it's own address book complete with the required information to ensure compliance. It is highly suggested that you complete these forms before generating packaging and shipping papers. You can access the forms by clicking the blue menu button on the top right of the app.

1. Consignee

This is the location and recipient of the shipment. Where are you shipping To:

This is the shipper. Who is shipping the package? Where are you shipping From: 

3. Carriers

This is who will be transporting the package for the shipper or consignor. This can be the postal service or another domestic carrier like John Smith's Cartage.

4. Third Party Billing

The third party can be added to Ground shipments using the bill of lading template only.

5. Shipments

This is where the magic happens! Select the Primary Package, Consignee (To), Consignor (From), Carrier, and Hazmatica generate the PDF template for you, in real-time.

We recommend creating a package and filling in the address book components before generating a shipping paper.

This video shows the process of generaing a shipping paper.

Step 1. Open Chrome

Navigate to the custom training URL found in the Getting Started email or copy and paste it into the search bar.

Step 2. Create Account

Enter your full name (ex: John Doe), email address, and password. Then, click Sign Up.

Step 3. Begin Training

Click the 3D Function-Specific or 3D General Training button, enter your email address, click login, then choose from the course selection menu.

Step 3. Recordkeeping

Upon certification, users can access and print their quiz record. Users with the 'manager' role can view and print quiz records, PDF certificates, and re-test dates.
